P-769 fertility treatments and the risk for long-term respiratory morbidity of the offspring; a sibling analysis

Abstract Study question Is the risk of long-term respiratory morbidity increased among children born following fertility treatments (in-vitro fertilization and ovulation induction)? Sibling analysis to maximize confounder control. Summary answer Fertility do not appear be an independent factor for offspring up 18 years age. What is known already Studies have found association between offspring, specifically obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). design, size, duration A retrospective population-based cohort was performed, including all sibling deliveries occurring 1991 2021 at a tertiary medical center. Offspring were followed-up until age years. Participants/materials, setting, methods The study population included 10,691 siblings women who had least one spontaneous pregnancy treatments. Kaplan–Meier survival curve used compare cumulative incidence, multivariable Cox hazards regression model control confounders.
